Dr. Todd A. Napieralski

Dr. Napieralski’s  passion for dentistry began at an early age. With an initial interest in medicine, the ability to artistically create smiles in dentistry was more appealing as a profession. Dr. Napieralski’s clinical skills were enhanced by his service in the United States Navy. His four years of service included time working side by side with many dental specialists from Universities across the globe. In 1994, he entered private practice by establishing Chelsea Family Dentistry.

Continuing Education / Awards

Dr. Napieralski received the Navy Achievement Medal (NAM) on two occasions for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry.

Dr. Napieralski has earned Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry for his extensive hours of post graduate continuing education in all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Napieralski has completed extensive training in both the placement and restoration or dental implants, the standard of care for missing teeth.

Dr. Napieralski is a Certified Invisalign Provider, enhancing smiles with clear retainers.

Dr. Napieralski resides in Chelsea with his wife Peggy and twin boys, Hunter and Landon. He enjoys outdoor recreational and sporting activities with his family. He also enjoys motorsports and competitive auto racing.

Dr. Brian P. Wisniewski

Throughout high school I sought to find a career in which I could utilize my artistic abilities and which would also allow me to meet new and interesting people on a daily basis. Dentistry has allowed me to do both. After graduating in 1990, I began my career in Flint, Michigan. After 5 years I became the Dental Director of Flint Family Dentistry, a large group practice. In 2007 I joined Chelsea Family Dental as a partner after working as an associate for many years. My approach to treating patients is simply based on listening first and then treating the patient as a whole. Everyone’s general health is linked directly to their oral health. Our office prides itself on its attention to detail and being technologically up to date. I continue to expand my knowledge and skills through attending classes, seminars and hands-on training events. Being involved in the community through educational lectures, sponsorships or local organizations is very important to me and Chelsea Family Dentistry.

Outside the Office
I was born in Detroit but currently live in Brighton. I have been married to my beautiful, supportive wife Kim for 19 years. We have three children, Zachary, Sydney, and Kelsey. I enjoy any sport possible, it keeps my competitive edge. I treat everyday as if it is my last and appreciate everyone in my life. I am a member of St. Patrick’s church in Brighton.

Dr. Elizabeth Prast

My career in dentistry began in 1994.  I was employed at Chelsea Family Dentistry as a dental hygienist for several years before returning to the University of Michigan to complete my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.   I have enhanced my dental education and credentials by completing a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration and University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor.  I enjoy all aspects of patient care and strive to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment ensuring a positive dental experience.

My husband Dan and I have lived in and around the Ann Arbor area for many years.   We have two children, Brendan and Megan.  I enjoy being an active member of the community as well as biking, running and photography.

 

 

 

 

 

Vicki – Office Manager As office manager, I oversee the office to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.  Patients are our number one priority and I ensure your expectations are met.  I have been with Chelsea Family Dentistry for 4 years and have over 30 years of past dental experience.

I have been happily married for 34 years to my husband Jim.  We have two grown children, a son Jerrod and a daughter Jaime.  When time permits my husband and I enjoy outdoor activities including motorcycle rides, water sports and snowmobiling.

Denise – Dental Hygienist And Clinical Coordinator I graduated in 1993 from the University of Michigan earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene.  I joined Chelsea Family Dentistry in 1994 shortly after Dr. Napieralski purchased the practice.  Here at Chelsea Family Dentistry, we strive to have a family friendly office with state of the art technology.  It is all the wonderful patients in this practice that makes my job so rewarding.  In 2010, I also took on the role of Clinical Coordinator.  In this role my focus is to improve the efficiency and chairside skills of the clinical staff.  Patient care is our top priority.
I have been married to my husband Kurt for 17 years.  I enjoy traveling, reading books, jewelry making and exercising.  My most recent accomplishment in both 2009 and 2010 is that I completed the Detroit Free Press half marathon with my close friends and family.

Jaime – Marketing Coordinator I graduated from Michigan State with a degree in Advertising.   I have worked part-time here at Chelsea Family Dentistry since November 2008.  I have enjoyed both the staff and the community of Chelsea throughout my time here.

When not in the office I am normally flying around somewhere, as I am a flight attendant for a major airline.  I definitely stay busy but I enjoy the balance between flying and working within the office. 

Heather – Dental Hygienist I have been with Chelsea Family Dentistry for 10 years.  I first started my dental career as an assistant and then decided to get my degree for Dental Hygiene in which I attended both Lansing Community College and University of Michigan.  I take pride in providing excellent care for all of my patients but I especially enjoy working with children.  My goal is to provide a fun dental experience in hopes that they will choose to continue the path of excellent dental care in the future.

Wendy – Dental Hygienist Chelsea Family Dentistry has been my employer for almost 10 years.  I graduated from Lansing Community College in 1994 with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene.  My focus as a hygienist here at Chelsea Family Dentistry is to help each patient achieve optimum oral health.  This is achieved by performing professional dental cleanings, aiding in tooth brushing and flossing techniques, evaluating periodontal health and dispensing products to help each patient maintain the best oral health at home.

My husband Jerry and I have been married for 28 years.  We have three grown children; Justin 27, Jeffrey 24 and Andria 20.  We all enjoy camping, canoeing and hiking.

Kim – Dental Hygienist My role here at Chelsea Family Dentistry is to help our patients establish the best level of dental health by assessing and suggesting ways of improving daily dental habits.  We have so many wonderful patients that I feel blessed to have the opportunity to interact on a personal level with each one on a daily basis.   We have both excellent doctors and staff here at Chelsea Family Dentistry.  I enjoy spending time with the staff both in and out of the office.

I have been married to my husband Don for 33 years.  We have three grown children Mark, Christopher and Stephen.  I am currently on the board of Chelsea Education Foundation and also enjoy visiting schools to teach children the importance of dental health.  I grew up in Chelsea and have chosen to stay and raise my family here.  I love to travel and spend time in Florida whenever possible.

Natasha – Dental Hygienist I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2008 and have been working here at Chelsea Family Dentistry since graduating with my degree in hygiene.  I enjoy working with patients of all ages and have a passion for educating each one about their oral health.  I am trained in nitrous oxide administration as well as local anesthesia, which allows me to provide a high level of comfort.  At each visit, I provide information and tools to help patients achieve their goals for both oral and overall health.

I have been married to my husband Gab for 4 years and we welcomed our first daughter Ada in September 2010.  I enjoy crocheting, traveling and spending time with my family.

Patricia – Dental HygienistAs a graduate of the University of Michigan, I have achieved a well-rounded dental hygiene experience that enables me to treat a wide variety of patients with evidence based knowledge and exceptional clinical skills.  I find great satisfaction in treating an array of periodontal patients.  I enjoy educating patients and interacting on a personal level.  I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful team and friendly community.
 
I am currently an active American Dental Hygiene Association member (ADHA) and enjoy volunteering within the community.  I spend alot of free time hiking, boating, scrapbooking and traveling with family and friends.

Charlene – Front Desk I have been with Chelsea Family Dentistry for over 10 years.  I take care of patients from scheduling appointments to presenting treatment plans and working with patients and their financial options in order to make dental care affordable.

I have been married for 37 years to my husband Todd.  We have three grown daughters, Dana, Erin and Abbe.  We also have 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson.  I love cooking, hanging out with friends and traveling.  The most important thing to me is family and I enjoy every minute I can with them. I have been in dentistry for 22 years.  At the front desk I am responsible for all administrative paperwork and scheduling appointments.  Communication is very important in a dental office and I make sure the patients needs are met while here in our office.

 I am married with a beautiful daughter, Gabrielle.  I love gardening, dancing and attending Gabby’s baseball games.

 

Michelle – Front DeskI am the newest employee to join Chelsea Family Dentistry and I am happy to be surrounded by my professional co-workers and wonderful patients.  I have six years of dental experience and love to assist patients with scheduling, insurance questions and everything in between.
 
I recently relocated to Chelsea from Cheboygan with my husband Eric and our two children, Elise and Erick.  We love Chelsea for its friendly people, quality of life and for being close to other family members who have made Chelsea their home for many years.  We are very involved with the kids school and sports activities.  When we are not watching them play, we spend as much time possible up-north boating, hiking and skiing.

Kathi – Dental Assistant I graduated from the Michigan Dental Assisting program in June 1985 and started my dental career from there.  I began working at Chelsea Family Dentistry in June 1996 and feel blessed to have been able to work with such a dynamic team of dedicated professionals.  I have always had a passion for dentistry and feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work in the dental profession for over 25 years.  I am extremely well versed in my knowledge of dentistry and have extensive clinical, radiographic and laboratory experience.  My patients are very important to me and I am committed to the highest standard of care.  I believe each patient should be treated in the same manner I would treat my own family.  I look forward to meeting you!

Susan – Dental Assistant I have been with Chelsea Family Dentistry for 9 years.  I love everyone I work with here and not to mention the amazing patients that we have!

I live in Brooklyn with my wonderful husband of 34 years, Robert.  I have two beautiful children Ashley and Tyler.  I have one grandson, Wyatt and a granddaughter on the way.  My husband and I enjoy spending time with our family, especially up north at our summer home at Houghton Lake.  We enjoy boating, scuba diving and riding around on our Harley.

Flora – Dental Assistant I have been in dentistry for 14 years and have worked with Chelsea Family Dentistry since January 2003.  I love the staff here, our patients and chocolate!

I enjoy an active lifestyle including a variety of sports and outdoor activities including dance, golf, biking and walking marathons.  I currently coach middle and high school competitive cheerleading and have since 1978!  I love spending time with my family and friends especially with my son Rob, daughter Alison and grandchildren, Zach, Jordan and Mila.

Megan – Dental Assistant Even though I just started working at Chelsea Family Dentistry in October 2010, I feel very lucky to be a part of this “family”.  I attended Jackson Area Career Center in 2004 and 2005 during my junior and senior years of high school and have been working in dentistry ever since. 

Outside of work I love to spend time with my fiancé Nick and our two year old son, Wyatt. I also enjoy family gatherings, camping, scrap booking with my sisters, and game nights with friends.

Yvone – Hygiene Assistant I started at Chelsea Family Dentistry in the summer of 2009.  I love working here with all my co-workers and with all the great patients we see on a daily basis.

I have been married to my best friend for 23 years.  We have 2 sons and a daughter-in-law.  I love camping, hiking, canoeing and hunting.  Besides outdoor activities, I also love to cross stitch, read and make candy.  My passion is animals of all kinds, especially dogs.

Mallori – File Clerk I am a junior at Chelsea High School.  I have been working at Chelsea Family Dentistry since June of 2010.  I mainly file and pull charts for upcoming appointments amongst other duties around the office. 

While I am a very active student, I still love coming to the office during the week.  I am very proud to be a part of Chelsea Family Dentistry.
